A Patient's Guide to Heart Rhythm Problems

This book discusses symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment options for patients with heart rhythm problems (arrhythmias) explaining the heart's basic function, related conditions, treatment, and other related topics.

Understanding Your Pacemaker or Defibrillator

This book provides useful information for patients who have or require an implantable device. The book is written from a uniquely comprehensive perspective by three very diverse experts - an experienced cardiologist who has worked with thousands of cardiac device patients and their families, a certified cardiac device specialist who also specializes in patient psychology, and a patient living with an implanted cardiac device.

You and Your Arrhythmia

This book includes cases with simple explanations to provide patients and their families with a better understanding of heart rhythm disorders, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care.

ICD Connection

This book includes ICD recipients and family members sharing, in their own words, their unique journey of living with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), cardiac arrhythmia, and for some, sudden cardiac arrest. The book offers advice, encouragement, and hope to others living with similar experiences. The book also includes educational information and resources regarding ICD’s and advice from a clinical psychologist who specializes in helping ICD recipients and family members with emotional and psychological issues related to ICD implantation and cardiac arrhythmia.
